Xiaomi recently announced its debut in the Indian smartphone market with the Xiaomi Mi3, which is supposed to be released in India tomorrow i.e. July 15th at an attractive price of Rs. 14,999. While Xiaomi has provided most of the details regarding the Mi3, it however did not specify the channels through which it was going to sell the Xiaomi Mi3 in India. Rumors have been hinting at Xiaomi partnering with the Flipkart to Exclusively launch the Xiaomi Mi3 in India.
Well, Flipkart has released a teaser depicting the Xiaomi Mi3 and it confirms at the the smartphone’s arrival in India exclusively through the e-retailers portal. While we can confirm that the device depicted in the teaser is the Xiaomi Mi3, however we are waiting for the official press event which is going to happen tomorrow in Delhi to confirm further details about its launch.

Apart from the Mi3, Xiaomi is also expected to release two other android smartphones which can be the RedMI 1S and RedMI Note.
The Xiaomi Mi3’s features a Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 clocked at 2.3 GHz with 2GB of ram, a full HD 1080p display, 16GB/64GB memory and a 13MP rear camera among many other features. While the Xiaomi Mi3 has similar hardware as the Nexus 5 and the Galaxy S4 but when it comes to the price, its surprisingly costs half of what the other two smartphones are priced at currently. No doubt this is a reason why Xiaomi has been able to sell the Mi3 as hot cakes in china and now with its debut in India along with the Xiaomi Mi3, high end smartphones like the Nexus 5 and as well as budget smartphones like the Moto G are surely going to face intense competition ahead.
Minor correction, it has Quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 on Qualcomm MSM8274AB Snapdragon 800 chipset instead of 2.4 GHz and also, the RAM is 2 GB 🙂
Thank you Abhishek, I’ve updated the post 🙂
