How to Fix the Disappearing Dock on Mac OS X

Have you booted into your Mac desktop only to find that the Dock has disappeared? Well, this is a common problem that happens randomly on most versions of Mac OS X. In my case it happened with me on my Macbook Air which was running on Mac OS X Yosemite.
There is nothing to be worried about here. Logically, the dock can only disappear when you turn it off, but as reported by many Mac users on the Apple forums. The dock usually disappears when someone boots into the Mac desktop and the same happened with me. While the cause of this bug is unknown, i certainly know for sure that i did not turn off the dock. The solution on the other hand is downright simple.
Generally Mac OS X allows the users to turned the Dock on or off. So if the dock disappears on your Mac, you can simply press the Option + Command + D keys to turn on the dock on Mac OS X.
Well this is as easy as it gets. I hope I was able to help you out and if i did, then please don’t forget to like our Facebook page.
