A common thing that happens with most of us is, sometimes we forget to remember where we kept our android devices in our house and later we have to go through the unnecessary trouble of finding them. A simple call can help you locate your Android phone’s location, however if your phone is in a silent mode or if it’s a tablet device without any cellular connection, you are going have a tough time finding it.
Fortunately, if your phone is connected to your home WiFi network or even a data connection, locating your phone is going to be an easy task thanks to Google’s Android Device Manager. Here’s how you can use Android device manager to locate a lost android device in your house.
Locate a Silent Android device in your House using Android Device Manager
- Step 1: Head over to www.google.com/android/devicemanager in your desktop browser and login with the Google account that is associated with your android device.
- Step 2: Once you login, you can see a list of all the devices that are associated with your gmail account.
- Step 3: Select any device and click on the Ring button.
Wait for a few seconds and your android device will ring at its full volume inspite of it being silent. Listen to your android device ringing ringing and easily locate it.
