- Step 2: Copy Framaroot from your computer to your phone memory.
- Step 3: Install Framaroot from the apk file.
- Step 4: Choose “install Superuser” option inside Framaraoot.
- Step 5: Select any of the exploits that appears in the app and wait for some time.
- Step 6: If you see a “Success … Superuser and su binary installed. You have to reboot your device” message then you have successfully rooted your phone .
- Step 7: If you see “Failed … Try another exploit if available” message then try selecting another exploit .
Note: On My Galaxy S3 i had selected the third exploit in Framaroot, which is Aragorn exploit and it worked successfully. Framaroot also has an Unroot option if you want to unroot your device later.

Hi Deepak , Sorry but your device is yet to be supported by method . You can try rooting your phone with Odin .
This did not work for Lava Iris 408e
odin is only for samsung devices, not sony xperia devices. Go to towelroot.com, and install the apk. Click make it rain and you will be rooted. Next install supersu and busybox installer. From the installer, install busybox. No need to reboot.

Hey I have an Alcatel OneTouch Fierce and it won’t work. It says failed for all 3 exploits. I’ve tried it multiple times. I’ve also tried using towelroot and even motochopper. Why won’t it work for my device? I have developer options on and debugging on as well, it just keeps failing.

Select the option which says install su (the second one – not the 1st one which says install superuser) in Framaroot, it will be done. After that create backups with ROM Manager for CWM recovery (see youtube videos). Also install one app at a time and if any app required reboot do not delay it (both important).

Hi. I own a TWZ AA8 bought in Thailand and unfortunately is not vulnerable to explots included in Framaroot.
OS Android 4.0.4. I was guessing if it’s imperative to unlock the bootloader first in order to root the phone.

Hi David , yes it is compulsory to unlock the boot loader of your phone before you can root it . But incase your bootloader is already unlocked by default , then you might have to try out rooting your phone via the Odin method . i suppose the exploits have been patched on your android phone .

Yes that might be the case , recently i did update to a minor 48 MB update on my galaxy S3 and since then all the exploits have been patched on my phone .

Its hard to say if the problem is caused by framaroot or avast. As of now yours is the first case of something like this happening by installing framaroot. I think you will need to flash a stock ROM on your Micromax canvas a88.

You can download Framaroot 1.6.1, its the latest one. although for some devices older versions of framaroot works fine.

If you want to downgrade your Phone’s firmware, then you will need to download an official android update and flash it using Odin.

The best advice I can give you is to go to xda developers and look up your model of phone. And there you will find all the latest rooting methods for you make and model.
No it don’t. If you have the latest kernel patch from a upgrade then none of the one click methods will work, you will have to use a computer to root.
