- Step 2: Read the system requirements carefully and only proceed ahead if your computer’s specifications are similar or higher.
- Step 3: You can directly skip to the download page i.e. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-download?ocid=tp_site_downloadpage and click on the Get the upgrade button to download the WindowsTechnicalPreview.exe file, Run the downloaded file to download the Windows 10 Technical Preview ISO file.
- Step 4: Use Rufus or Windows 7 USB/DVD Download Tool to create a Bootable USB flash drive or optical disk for installing the windows 10 technical preview on your PC.

ok if I install windows 10 in my laptop, currently which is having windows 7 ultimate then whether windows 7 will be erased in my laptop and as the windows 10 expiry date is april 2015. after that what should I do?
You can create a new partition and install Windows 10 on it, this way you can choose between both the OS’es when your PC boots.

I “upgraded” early on form windows 7 to Win 10. However i encountered the black screen with cursor issue. I was not able to work around this problem – even spent most of a weekend on the phone via Microsoft support.
