Being an long time android user, it was a little difficult for me to adapt to an iPhone. This should have been the same for everyone who has switched from an android device to iPhone or vice versa.
However, Contrary to the popular belief, iPhones are almost equal or even better than android in many aspects. Most people complain about iPhone’s low hardware specs, but this is easily compensated by the brilliant software optimisation done by apple on iOS.
The battery percentage icon is what i missed the most on my new iPhone. Fortunately this is a built in feature on iOS too and it can be enabled from the iPhone’s settings.
Most people would be glad to have the battery percentage icon turned on by default. For those who would like to show the battery percentage icon on iPhone, here’s how you can do so.
How to Show the Battery Percentage on iPhone.
- Step 1: Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad ( Mini )
- Step 2: Tap on General.
- Step 3: Tap on Usage.
- Step 4: Tap on button beside Battery percentage to turn it on.
There you go, you can now view the battery percentage on your iPhone. With the battery percentage icon turned on, you can now correctly estimate your iPhone’s remaining battery life.
Well battery shouldn’t be a problem if you are using the iPhone Plus, which has enough juice to last for a day or even more if used moderately. As for other iPhones, their battery life is not so great and a numerical display of the battery’s percentage can help you to make efficient use of your phone in order to get a longer battery life.
